We were the team that needed this tool.
Before Nonlinear, the two of us spent a decade inside companies where the calendar was the most contested surface on earth. Every meeting was a small negotiation. Every quarter, the deep work shrank.
We tried every productivity tool. None of them treated time like the finite resource it actually is. They scheduled, they synced, they color-coded — but they never defended anything.
So in early 2024 we started over. Nonlinear isn't a calendar with AI bolted on. It's a coordination system written from the assumption that your attention is the product — and that the meetings around it should earn their place.
